WOW !!By what i have seen last night Kydor looks very promising. Even though the use of placeables is scarce (imo ) they are used very well and highly creatively. I have seen stuff that was downright impressive. All and all the mod has a very good atmosphere. Some areas (like the town) are a bit bland though and could use some work to bring them up to the high standard set in the majority of areas I have seen. I fear i will play this mod. There are a few things i would like to see made clear before the mod goes live because I believe they have a significant impact on character creation. 1: Will there be crafting? And if so, what system will it use? The standard NWN system? The CEP system? Some "external" system like ATS, CNR or UOAbigails ( Ambrosia?) system? Not that I care for crafting, but others might . 2: Is there a generic entry point, or are there "starting locations" based on race, class or alignment? 3: Apparently magic will be rare , and to a certain degree be frowned upon. Information like this that has a major impact on how certain classes or races would be played should be made available in detail on the website (as promised) and in lesser detail upon mod entry. the same goes for a synopsis of the history of the world (like general knowledge) and its current political situation (detailing the major parties and their goals.) 4: To what extend can we play non-standard and/or sub-races? ( see Stinckvisch topic

1: At this time we have no intentions of creating a crafting system - at least not through scripting. But i beleive me and Bane will be interested in mapping out our own system - we'll discuss that one, as we've talked f*guely about it before, then get back to you. 2: Everyone starts at Ayden - Bottle-necking is neccessary to bring players together and often determines whether a server is successful or crashs and burns. Exceptions can be made, i'm sure. There will likely be evil players, although i would hope they're subtle, as its not taken too lightly (Yous have seen the pyre ). Of course, yous are free to walk right outside of Ayden and RP that yous never went in. 3: I'm doing the last touchs to the welcoming room today, and will place all information like this in the boards and post it on the forums rules section once its available - me and Bane will likely be going through all this today to flesh it out, as motivation is sky-high at the moment. 4: That'll be a tricky one. We're hoping to design Kydor in the way that requesting subraces won't be needed, you'll have such a detailed and unique character that even two level 10 warriors would be entirely different people. But aye, subraces and the like are allowed, aslong as we can fit them into the world correctly and the players requesting have earned our trust.

And by all means, if there's anymore questions, or you want to go into more depth on some, i'll do what i can to answer.

When we launched the open day, much of the mod was as yet uncomplete. Mainly the Lower part of town. Ive all but completed the lower Region now, and I couldnt help but use Inspiration from Heumton We wont overdo it, because we dont want 3fps but its definately more spruced up now... We are doing lots of tweaks and finishing touches and we wont show anyone anything til we are done, so when we do open to public. Youl all have a Good suprise.
